Louisiana Red played May 2^nd and 3^rd 2008 at the Rhythm Room. These shots were all from the first night. If you have never seen Red you are missing the best old school blues out there. At my request, Red started the second set with two solo songs. To me that is the heart of Blues. Check him out at http://www.louisiana-red.com

The photos from this slide show are from the reception for the Promega Fall Art Showcase presentation of my production, "Pedro E. Guerrero: Beyond Frank Lloyd Wright," on September 9^th, 2008. There are also many installation shots from the Gallery.

Here are some panorama photos taken July 2008 while on a motorcycle trip to Sedona AZ. I went through Winslow, Holbrook, the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest. Maybe I took too many photos of the Wigwam Motel in Holbrook. In addition I shot my favorite bridge just south of Payson on route 87. Hope you enjoy these pics.

These photos were taken on June 18^th 2008, of the floods in Iowa. My friend Bill Linton and I flew in his small plane from Madison, Wisconsin to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to pick up his daughter Kristin. She is in school there and was spending quite a lot of time sandbagging. We had to get in and out early because “W” was landing at the same airport two hours after we were there. They had the airspace locked down for Air Force One.

 

Bill took a few of the shots but he was busy flying the plane. There are a few shots of Streb Construction Company. I noticed that “W” made a visit there that day. The sandbagging seemed to have saved that business. So much else was lost because of the rains.
